Insomnia and Acupuncture

According to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, 30% of people feel like they do not get enough sleep. 

Insomnia occurs when you experience one of the following

You have a hard time falling asleep

You have a hard time staying asleep, waking often throughout the night

You wake early, unable to fall back asleep

You do not feel rested upon waking after a full nights sleep

There are many factors that can affect the quality of sleep you are getting, biological, physical, and emotional.  Having high stress can cause waking between the hours of 1:00am and 3:00am due to cortisol levels spiking too early in the day.  Racking thoughts is a frequently reported reason as to why many people have a hard time falling asleep.
